Taking up space where a movie house used to pack West Edmonton Mall patrons, Rum Jungle is supposed to offer an after-hours safari experience. That's putting it mildly. Fire-breathers, magicians and the occasional acrobat acts were among the sideshows promised by the movers and shakers of this spot prior to opening. A little Vegas here, a little voodoo vibe there and you have the makings of a three-ring circus. All you're missing is a megaphoned barker telling you to "Hurrr-eee, hurrr-eee, hurrreee" in time for the main attraction, whatever that may be.
